I am delighted to welcome you to Subrahmanyam Ananthalakshmi College of Nursing, Rajamahendravaram, an institution dedicated to nurturing compassionate, competent, and professional nurses who serve society with excellence.
As the Principal, I, Dr. J. Sharon Roja, Ph.D, bring with me years of academic and clinical expertise in nursing, My professional journey has allowed me to serve in diverse roles including, Clinical Instructor, Nursing Tutor, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Mental Health Nursing, and presently as Principal cum Professor.
I have actively participated in regional workshops on Research Methodology. I one of the organizer at the CNE programme on "Global patient safety challenge; Medication without harm. I have actively participated in SNAI conferences on "Empowering nursing students- prospects and challenges' Learning today, leading tomorrow- the journey of a nursing student organized by TNAI. I participated as resource person "Ask about Dementia, Ask about Alzheimer's".
Nursing is a unique profession that allows you to enjoy the reward of serving people while growing professionally and personally. It brings obstacles and opportunities that continually challenge you to be the best you can be. Nursing career is a journey and you evolve as you go. My career path is no different.
We keep moving forward opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. Our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
